My Philosophy of Teaching
My philosophy of teaching centres around my belief that all children deserve to have a space where they feel safe to learn and grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is my hope to create this type of environment where students are able to meet their full potential, embrace what makes them unique, and accept differences in others.
Every classroom and school has a unique community and I believe it is my role as a teacher to assist each child in developing their sense of self. I aim to create and develop lessons with students' different learning styles and needs in mind, as well as make the content relevant to students' lives. Teaching is a process of learning from those in the community around and I look forward to continuing my life-long journey of learning by asking questions and listening to the answer.
