PED 3183: Heritage Fair Project

This video is a product of an assignment from PED 3183: Teaching History at the Intermediate Division. We were tasked with creating a Heritage Fair Project of our own, a rubric, and a tool for analyzing historical sources, which will be attached below. This project was a great way to understand the steps a student might take in order to participate in such a Fair, which something that I might consider having students participate in in the future.

 

This project strives to answer the question, “How did the first Pride marches and protests shape the collective identity of queer Canadians across the country?”
